Volleyball Game Preview: Stark Generals vs. Winnacunnet Warriors

The Stark Generals will square off against the Winnacunnet Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The timing is sure in Stark's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while Winnacunnet has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Stark is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Coe-Brown Academy, who was ranked first at the time (Stark was ranked ninth). The Generals lost 3-0 to the Bears on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Winnacunnet didn't have quite enough to beat Mascenic Regional on Wednesday and fell 3-2.

Stark now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Winnacunnet, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.

Stark took their victory against Winnacunnet in their previous meeting on Thursday by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Generals repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
