Soccer Recap: Crescent City Comes Up Short

If Crescent City was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Umatilla last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Crescent City Raiders fell just short of the Taylor Wildcats by a score of 3-2 on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in November.

Crescent City's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Taylor, the win got them back to even at 6-6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crescent City will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Umatilla at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. Taylor will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against Atlantic at 7:30 p.m. on January 13, 2025.
