Baseball Recap: Grand Rapids Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Grand Rapids won the last time they faced Bemidji and things went their way on Thursday too. The Thunderhawks walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Lumberjacks. Six seems to be a good number for the Thunderhawks as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Grand Rapids' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Bemidji, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-2.
