Volleyball Recap: Solon Springs Takes a Loss

Solon Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Butternut Midgets. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Midgets earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17.

Solon Springs' loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Butternut, their victory bumped their record up to 15-18.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Solon Springs will square off against rival Mercer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Butternut is set to challenge their familiar foe Hurley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
