Softball Recap: Lamar Comes Up Short

Lamar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 9-4 to the All S Saints. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Saints from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Nathalie Dermas was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. She also put up a stolen base, which washer first of the season.

Lamar's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for All S, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Lamar has already played their next matchup, a 15-3 win against Sunset on the 15th. All S will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bishop Lynch at 4:30 p.m. on February 25th.
