Volleyball Recap: Weyauwega-Fremont's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Saturday

It was a good run, but Weyauwega-Fremont unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Janesville Craig Cougars.

Weyauwega-Fremont's offense was headlined by Sophia McCoy and McKenna Ferg, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Mariah Baehnman and her 13 assists.

Janesville Craig's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chloe Adams, who had nine assists and six digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Abbie Claas, who had six kills and six digs.

Weyauwega-Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Janesville Craig, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Weyauwega-Fremont and Janesville Craig will both be playing Cedarburg the next time they take the court. The Warhawks will head out to face the Bulldogs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
