Volleyball Recap: Weyauwega-Fremont's Run of Three Straight Wins Now Over

It was a good run, but Weyauwega-Fremont unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Janesville Craig Cougars.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Janesville Craig to victory, but perhaps none more so than Abbie Claas, who had six kills and six digs. Claas is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Chloe Adams was another key player, getting nine assists and six digs.

Weyauwega-Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Janesville Craig, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Weyauwega-Fremont and Janesville Craig will both be playing Cedarburg the next time they take the court. The Warhawks will head out to face the Bulldogs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
