Baseball Recap: Boyle County Rebels vs. Washington County Commanders
Boyle County came out on top against Washington County on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Rebels walked away with a 6-3 win over the Commanders. The victory was nothing new for the Rebels as they're now sitting on three straight.
Kyler Claunch made a splash while hitting and pitching. He tossed 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April.
