The First Baptist Academy Lions will face off against the Naples Golden Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. First Baptist Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between First Baptist Academy and Evangelical Christian, and Evangelical Christian kept the tradition alive. The Lions came up short against the Sentinels on Thursday, falling 15-3.

Meanwhile, Naples was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parrish Community.

Michael Salvi and AVI PALACIOS stepped up to the plate in a big way. Salvi went 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI, while PALACIOS got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

First Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Naples, their loss dropped their record down to 3-12.
