Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Leominster). Everything went their way against the Fitchburg Blue Raiders on Monday as they made off with a 46-7 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Leominster is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.7 runs over those games. As for Fitchburg, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Leominster will welcome Tewksbury Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fitchburg, they will host Hudson at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
