Perkiomen School entered their tilt with Shipley on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against Shipley. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-2 victory last Friday.

Perkiomen School had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 23-25, 25-22, 25-14, 15-10.

Candela Rodriguez paced Perkiomen School's offense, picking up 28 kills. Rodriguez got some help from Lara Garcia and her 35 assists. Mia Frizzell controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Perkiomen School's win bumped their record up to 12-6-1. As for Shipley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.

Coming up, Perkiomen School will square off against Lawrenceville School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Shipley, after both having extra time off, they and Germantown Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
