Stansbury entered their tilt with Cottonwood on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Colts. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Nolan Furgal tossed a big game, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. What's more, he gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Xaviah Patch, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Astill, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double.

Stansbury kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Stansbury pushed their record up to 9-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Cottonwood, their loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-2.

Stansbury will have a chance to go back-to-back against Cottonwood: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
