Volleyball Recap: Maxwell Triumphs + How To Watch

Maxwell posted their closest win since September 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Winters Warriors 3-2. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Maxwell who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-14, 14-25, 25-17, 17-25, 15-12.

Lylah Barrett paced Maxwell's offense, picking up nine kills. Barrett got some help from Bethany Wilson and her seven assists. Erin Dennis controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Maxwell's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4.

Maxwell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Paradise Adventist Academy on the 21st. As for Winters, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against St. Helena on the 21st.
