Lin-Wood had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over the Lisbon Panthers. The result was nothing new for the Lumberjacks, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Lin-Wood's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Lisbon, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
