The biggest upset of the week belonged to St. Mary, who took down 45th ranked St. Mary, 26-14.
Elkton/Lake Benton MN was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping Colman-Egan. The Elks came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Deubrook's dynamic duo of Taylor Olsen and Dustin Trooien proved tough for Oldham-Ramona/Rutland to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Olsen threw for 110 yards and one touchdown and Trooien had 65 yards receiving. Cory Byers helped Deubrook's passing attack out by catching two balls for 45 yards.
Patrick Bertsch made the biggest impact on defense this week as Lake Preston bested DeSmet/Iroquois. The 6-foot-3 senior recorded one fumble.
Jaden Denison was the most productive running back in Dakota Valley (9 Man) this week. In 43 carries, he ran for 208 yards as the Divers defeated the Raiders. Teammate Ethan Tolzin added to the ground attack by rushing for 22 yards.
Deubrook's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dolphins feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Olsen has thrown for 424 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Trooien has 15 catches for 196 yards. Ryan Knutson leads the league in rushing with 1152 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Arlington takes on the Cardinals. At the moment, the Cardinals are in second, while St. Mary is in fourth.
Deubrook extended the longest winning streak in Dakota Valley (9 Man) this week by beating Oldham-Ramona/Rutland, 50-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
