Volleyball Recap: H&H Takes a Loss

The H&H Bearcats came up short against the St. Cecilia Bluehawks on Tuesday and fell 2-0. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11.

H&H's offense was headlined by Katelyn Farrall and Riley Quiring, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Ava Hurt and her five assists. Quiring was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

H&H's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for St. Cecilia, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-7.

Coincidentally, H&H and St. Cecilia will both be playing Cross County the next time they take the court. The Bearcats will head out to face the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Bluehawks will play them later in the day, at 6:30 p.m.
