Basketball Recap: Columbus International Takes a Loss

Columbus International was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 31st straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Beechcroft Cougars and fell 70-25. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-14 back in January.

Columbus International's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Beechcroft, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Columbus International and Beechcroft could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Columbus International (ranked 830th) will meet Centennial (ranked 327th) at 7:00 p.m. on February 7th. Meanwhile, Beechcroft will take on Northland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 359 places (532 vs. 173).
