Volleyball Recap: Fulton Falls Despite Big Games from Estella Vanschenkhof and Bre Knighten

Fulton lost against Strafford on Saturday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hornets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians.

Fulton's loss came despite strong showings from Bre Knighten and Estella Vanschenkhof. Knighten had seven kills, five digs, and one block, while Vanschenkhof had 13 assists. Vanschenkhof is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Fulton now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Strafford, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-3-2.

Coming up, Fulton is taking a road trip to square off against Linn at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Strafford, they have already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Eldon on the 11th.
