Football Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kainan Manna and Dareyen Bridges Lead Lincoln to Victory + How To Watch

Lincoln won the last time they faced Grant and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hornets enjoyed a cozy 40-21 win over the Pacers. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Pacers are ranked 47th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

A big part of Lincoln's victory came down to the chemistry between Kainan Manna and his top target Dareyen Bridges. Manna threw for 214 yards and three TDs on only ten passes while Bridges gained 116 total yards and two touchdowns.incredibly, Bridges got all that yardage with just one huge run Junior Curtis was another key player, gaining 83 total yards and a touchdown.

Although Grant took the loss, they still got scores from Malikii Lavern, Blake Nycum, and Sosaia Noa.

The win made it two in a row for Lincoln and bumps their season record up to 5-1. As for Grant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Lincoln will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on La Jolla at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. As for Grant, they will challenge Destiny Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Pacers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
