Basketball Recap: Kingston Takes a Loss

Kingston lost against Pine Bush back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Kingston Tigers came up short against the Pine Bush Bushmen, falling 55-33. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Bushmen are ranked 17th).

Kingston has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Pine Bush, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-1.

Coming up, Kingston will head out to challenge Saugerties at 5:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Pine Bush, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Shaker at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Shaker will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Pine Bush surely won't give up without a fight.
