Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Laurel-Concord-Coleridge). Everything went their way against the Wisner-Pilger Gators on Thursday as the Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Bears made off with a 73-51 victory. With that win, the Bears brought their scoring average up to 50.5 points per game.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gibson Roberts led the charge by almost dropping a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. The game was Roberts' sixth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Johnson, who went 7-for-17 en route to 16 points and seven boards.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in December of 2024.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's victory bumped their record up to 8-14. As for Wisner-Pilger, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.

Looking ahead, Laurel-Concord-Coleridge will face off against Wynot at 7:45 p.m. on February 21st. As for Wisner-Pilger, they will square off against Madison at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st.
