Basketball Recap: Lone Star Comes Up Short

Lone Star played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against the Caliche Buffaloes, falling 54-34. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Lone Star still got an impressive performance from Jade Kuntz, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Peytyn Kuntz, who posted seven points and five boards.

Lone Star now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Caliche, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Lone Star didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-31 victory against Potter-Dix on the 6th. As for Caliche, they have also already played their next game, a 70-24 win against Creek Valley on the 4th.
