The Spring-Ford Rams are taking a road trip to take on the Methacton Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spring-Ford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Spring-Ford needed a bit of extra time to put away Perkiomen Valley. They skirted past the Vikings 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rams have posted since March 23rd.

Will Kennedy tossed a big game, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Spring-Ford saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Sedor, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double.

Spring-Ford hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Perkiomen Valley struck out eight times.

Meanwhile, Methacton suffered their biggest defeat since March 27th on Monday. They lost 20-7 to Owen J. Roberts. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

The victory snapped Spring-Ford's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 12-3 record. As for Methacton, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Spring-Ford got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in March against Methacton by a conclusive 11-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
