Bristol hadn't done well against Delaware County Christian recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Tuesday. The Warriors came out on top against the Knights by a score of  9-5. The  victory was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on five straight.
 Dom Capriotti spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered five earned runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Cole Guy was  incredible,  scoring four  runs and  stealing seven bases while  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances. Those  seven  stolen bases gave  him a new career-high.  Hayden Scancella also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  triple of the season.
Bristol's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Delaware County Christian, their  defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-7.
 Looking ahead, Bristol will head out on the road to  take on  Harry S. Truman  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Warriors are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on  a  seven-game losing streak. As for Delaware County Christian, they will challenge Renaissance Academy at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
