Softball Game Preview: Freedom Patriots vs. Patton Panthers

The Freedom Patriots will head out to take on the Patton Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Freedom came up short against Alexander Central on Tuesday, falling 12-1. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Freedom saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rumi Campbell, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Patton faced off against Draughn on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 13-0 to the Wildcats.

Freedom's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Patton, their loss dropped their record down to 4-12.

Everything went Freedom's way against Patton in their previous matchup back in March, as Freedom made off with an 11-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
