Whitwell Posts Huge Game in 35-13 Victory
Starting off the list is Batavia's Nathan Whitwell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Whitwell rushed for 176 yards and four touchdowns.

Talyn Taylor was instrumental in extending Geneva's winning streak to eight on Friday. St. Charles East had no answer to Taylor as he picked up 113 receiving yards and three touchdowns. What's more, Taylor also racked up nine rushing yards, the mosthe's had since back in September of 2023.
On the year, Taylor has caught 17 touchdowns while averaging 112.2 receiving yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 19.25 receiving yards per game.

Feller Came Up Big in Batavia's 35-13 Win
The second Batavia player making an appearance here is Jake Feller, and for good reason. He picked up a sack, made five total tackles (3.0 for loss), and defended two passes. He is on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as he's now defended at least one in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.
For the year, Feller has averaged 5 total tackles per game and for the season has 4.5 sacks. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 0.5 defended passes per game. This year he is averaging one defended passe.

Rounding off our Top Five is Luca Carbonaro of Wheaton-Warrenville South. Carbonaro threw for 204 yards and two touchdowns.
Carbonaro and Wheaton-Warrenville South will face off against St. Charles East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Carbonaro will face off against Jt Padron, the Fighting Saints' star QB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
