Abington waltzed into their game on Thursday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Their defense stepped up to hand the East Bridgewater Vikings a 20-0 shutout. The 20-point effort marked the Green Wave's lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Abington's record is now 7-1. As for East Bridgewater, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Abington and Whitman-Hanson Regional will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 10:00 a.m. on November 27. The Green Wave will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
