Bullis took a 13-run loss the last time they faced off against Georgetown Prep, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Little Hoyas on Thursday.

Bullis' victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Chase Hellings, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Ryan Rosenthal was another, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Bullis' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-9. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Georgetown Prep, with the defeat, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-8.

Looking ahead, Bullis will face off against St. Albans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Georgetown Prep, they have already played their next matchup, an 11-8 win against Jackson-Reed on the 25th.
