Graford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lipan Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 last Tuesday.

Cye Lemley put in work no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Graford's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 3-4 when he doesn't).

In other batting news, Kamdyn Richardson was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Jaxon Ragle also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.
