Basketball Game Preview: Kingston Buccaneers vs. North Mason Bulldogs

The Kingston Buccaneers will head out on the road to take on the North Mason Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Kingston came up short against North Kitsap and fell 55-46. The loss continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, North Mason posted their biggest victory since December 2, 2024 on Friday. They claimed a resounding 58-29 win over Bremerton. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while the Knights are ranked 342nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for North Mason and bumps their season record up to 12-5. As for Kingston, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Kingston came up short against North Mason when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 49-41. Can Kingston avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
