Baseball Game Preview: Fulton Hornets vs. California Pintos

The Fulton Hornets will venture away from home to challenge the California Pintos at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Fulton will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Fulton proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Moberly 3-2.

Meanwhile, California came up short against Centralia on Friday and fell 6-2. The Pintos haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Fulton pushed their record up to 15-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for California, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.
