Recap: Northfield Norsemen vs. Rochester Zebras
There's no place like home for the Northfield Norsemen, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Rochester by a score of 46-33 on Thursday. This was payback for Northfield, who suffered a 46-38 loss the last time these two teams met.
Northfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elli Baker, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Hannah Holmes, who scored 13 points along with eight rebounds and two blocks.
Rochester's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Aubrey Wilson, who scored ten points, and Rylee Clevenger who scored ten points along with three steals.
Northfield's victory bumped their record up to 9-13. As for Rochester, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.
Northfield will head out on the road to square off against Churubusco at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rochester, they will take on Knox at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
