Soccer Recap: Lathrop Comes Up Short

After flying high against North Pole on Tuesday, Lathrop came back down to earth. The Malemutes fell just short of the Colony Knights by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Lathrop haven't had much luck with Colony recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Lathrop's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Colony, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1.

Coincidentally, Lathrop and Colony will both be playing West Valley the next time they take the pitch. The Knights will head out to face the Wolf Pack at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Malemutes will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
