If Mason Classical Academy was riding high fresh off their 21-2 takedown of Community School of Naples last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Mason Classical Academy fell just short of the Lely Trojans by a score of 5-4 on Thursday. The Paladins' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Mason Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Lely, their win bumped their record up to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Mason Classical Academy will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Everglades City at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lely, they will welcome Cape Coral at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cape Coral will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Lely surely won't give up without a fight.
