Ridgecroft waltzed into their match on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past The Oakwood School Eagles 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

Ridgecroft walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-17.

Klaire Cherry paced Ridgecroft's offense, picking up ten kills. Cherry got some help from Lacey Berryman and her 24 assists. Cherry was also solid from the service line: she led the team with 11 aces.

Ridgecroft's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for The Oakwood School, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Looking ahead, Ridgecroft will venture away from home to take on Pungo Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Oakwood School, they will welcome Kerr-Vance Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
