Football Recap: Marist Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Marist was feeling good fresh off their 35-7 takedown of Seaside two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Spartans took a 27-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sweet Home Huskies on Friday. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Huskies apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Marist dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Sweet Home, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marist will face off against rival Crescent Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Sweet Home is set to square off against their familiar foe Junction City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
