South Brunswick took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-22.

South Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 16-6. As for Western Alamance, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
