Basketball Recap: Jamestown Takes a Loss

Jamestown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat. They took a 55-40 bruising from the Smithfield Packers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Packers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 52-33 back in January.

Jamestown's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Smithfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season.

Jamestown has already played their next game, a 59-27 win against Tabb on the 14th. As for Smithfield, they will challenge York at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
