Basketball Recap: Stonewall Jackson Comes Up Short

Stonewall Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Strasburg Rams 70-26. The Generals lost against the Rams in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 46-23 score last time.

Stonewall Jackson's record is now 1-11. As for Strasburg, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

When Stonewall Jackson and Strasburg next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Stonewall Jackson will try to stop Central Woodstock's three-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Strasburg will face off against Page County and their three-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
