Volleyball Game Preview: Clovis Cougars vs. Clovis East Timberwolves

The Clovis Cougars will take on the Clovis East Timberwolves at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Clovis picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Bullard. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Clovis East entered their tilt with Clovis West on Thursday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They blew past the Golden Eagles 3-0.

Clovis East got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 31-29.

Clovis' victory bumped their record up to 16-1. As for Clovis East, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Clovis was able to grind out a solid victory over Clovis East in their previous meeting back in March, winning 2-0. Will Clovis repeat their success, or does Clovis East has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
