After losing to Prospect the last time they met, Wheeling decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats skirted past the Knights 2-1.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (70-66) Wheeling actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 16-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Wheeling has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. As for Prospect, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-13.

Wheeling wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Conant on the 16th. As for Prospect, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Schaumburg on the 16th.
