It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Johnsburg ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Woodstock Blue Streaks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on April 1st.

Johnsburg's win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Woodstock, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Johnsburg will square off against rival Harvard at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Woodstock is set to take on their familiar foe Woodstock North at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
