Baseball Recap: East Marshall's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

East Marshall fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Aplington-Parkersburg on Wednesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 13 runs in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.

The loss snapped East Marshall's winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 9-10 record. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Marshall will head out to face off against South Hardin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aplington-Parkersburg, they will venture away from home to take on Non Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
