South Pointe has won 13 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Westside has won 13 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Stallions will challenge the Rams at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in South Pointe's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last seven matchups.
South Pointe is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 56-14 victory over A.C. Flora. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-14.
South Pointe's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but R.J. Brown led the charge by rushing for 59 yards and two scores on only six carries. Dailan Duncan was another key pass catcher, picking up 103 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Another reason for the win was South Pointe's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for ten sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Seth Tillman and Brysen Ginn, who racked up 5.5 sacks between them. Ginn has been hot recently, having also posted seven or more total tackles the last three times he's played. South Pointe got some further help from Kj Burg: he made 11 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, it may have taken double overtime to finish the job, but Westside ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They skirted past Camden 24-21. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rams have posted since August 24, 2024.
South Pointe better keep an eye on Keylan Powell. He was instrumental in Westside's win, rushing for 235 yards and a pair of TDs. They are 7-1 when Powell posts 100 or more rushing yards, but 2-3 otherwise.
Westside was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 243 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 190 rushing yards in six consecutive matchups.
South Pointe's record now sits at 12-1. As for Westside, their record is now 9-4.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. South Pointe has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 239.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Westside struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 183.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
South Pointe suffered a grim 35-14 defeat to Westside in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Stallions were down 28-7.
