The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their 24-point performance the match before.

St. Augustine Catholic's win came from a few key players Catalina will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jovanni Fernandez, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Ochoa, who posted 22 points along with six rebounds and five steals.

St. Augustine Catholic's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-12. As for Catalina, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.
