Yates Center hadn't done well against Erie recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Red Devils. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 2-1 win the Red Devils walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Yates Center moved to 16-9 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Erie, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.

Coincidentally, Yates Center and Erie will both be playing Humboldt the next time they take the court. The Wildcats will head out to face the Cubs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Red Devils will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
