They came up short against Buchholz, falling 6-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Hurricanes were not able to get on the board.

Belleview's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Lake Weir, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.

Belleview was able to grind out a solid win over Lake Weir in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 6-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Belleview since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
