Volleyball Game Preview: Chicago Christian Knights vs. Niles Notre Dame Dons

The Chicago Christian Knights will head out on the road to take on the Niles Notre Dame Dons at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chicago Christian is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Monday, Chicago Christian came up short against York and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Niles Notre Dame posted their closest victory since April 12th on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Patrick, sneaking past 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Dons in their matchups with the Shamrocks: they've now won six in a row.

Niles Notre Dame had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-15, 25-22.

Niles Notre Dame's victory bumped their record up to 20-7. As for Chicago Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 18-16.

Chicago Christian couldn't quite get it done against Niles Notre Dame in their previous meeting back in May of 2023 as they fell 2-0. Can the Knights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
