Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Grant Smith stepped things up a notch to give Grand Oaks the 'W'. Smith threw for 90 yards and three TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards. The performance marked the most passing touchdowns he has had since back in October of 2024.

Smith and Grand Oaks will venture away from home to face off against Conroe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Grizzlies had to take a loss when they last met the Tigers, but Smith had little to do with the loss: he threw for 224 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 36 yards and one score.
