Madison won the last time they faced Lake Catholic and things went their way on Friday too. The Blue Streaks were the clear victors by an 18-1 margin over the Cougars. Considering the Blue Streaks have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kara Mekulsia was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 14 over six innings pitched.
